We at Rotate Gallery have created a platform for emerging artists at the beginning of their artistic career to hold their own solo commercial exhibitions, supported by our provision of new and exciting spaces and access to art expertise.
We provide a space where artists can showcase their work commercially and connect with potential buyers and members of the art world.
Additionally, we offer essential resources such as 1-1 workshops and mentorship to help emerging artists develop their skills and navigate the art industry.

When exhibiting with Rotate, each artist will receive:

1-1 workshops on how to write catalogue essays, your artist statement and essential information on curation.
Access to art expertise and mentorship from our Art Department every step of the way.
The chance to discover who you are as an artist through curating your own solo exhibition.
60% commission on all works sold.
EXHIBITION DETAILS
Exhibiting artists will hang their works at their allocated venue on the 1st of July.
During the month of June, artists are required to meet with us for headshots at Superbeam Agency, workshops and in person studio visits (if applicable).
Artists have the opportunity to wholly curate and decide exhibiting artworks, with advice/input from our art department. Valuation is also at the artists discretion, with some input from our team.
We want to give as much freedom as possible to our artists so they are able to experience the ins and outs of a career in the arts.
ELIGIBILITY
All applicants must be based/reasonably able to commute to London, UK.
At present, our venues are solely based in London, however we do plan to branch out both nationally and internationally in the future.
Due to the nature of our venues, we are only accepting works that are able to be hung on walls. This excludes video art, performance art, site-specific installations and large sculptures.
Some small sculptures may be eligible for sale - please see Katya Derksen's series Stacked as an example.
This exhibition accepts only emerging artists who have not previously held a solo/solo commercial show before and are at the beginning of their artistic career.
SUBMISSIONS
All applicants are required to submit example images and/or a PDF document of their works.
If you have social media or a website showcasing your work, please fill these in where appropriate.
If you do not have either of these you will not be penalised!
